ANNOUNCEMENT
Appointment of
Honorary Directors
The Board of Directors are very happy to
announce that it has unanimously approved the
appointment of two new Honorary Directors.
Bob Eder has faithfully and diligently
served the Association for many years, having
served as Director, Show Chairman, Vice
President and President over his long career.
Today he still serves ensuring that we always
have a supply of award bronzes and plaques
available for our competitive displays.
Bob's great sense of humor is a great help to
us, gently keeping the board very much aware
of its responsibilities as the Association's
governing body.
John Scardino has very effectively
served several times as a member of the Board
of Directors and, for a short while, as editor
of The Texas Gun Collector.
Additionally, John has been the printer of the
magazine and our other printing needs for
maybe twenty years, providing us with quality
service and at reasonable prices. His
cheerful, friendly and helpful demeanor has
endeared him to many of our members and a lot
of non-members as well.
Please join the Board of Directors in
congratulating Bob and John to their
appointments as Honorary Directors, and give
them all the help and encouragement you can to
help them become effective components in the
leadership of this great organization, the
Texas Gun Collectors Association.
